A couple of winged wet flies, tied in hand

This past week I've been on a tying tear, after finding that in-hand tying could be so much fun. On Saturday morning I had a go at a winged wet fly, the Munro.

Munro Size 7

I was pretty happy with how it turned out, but there were some flaws, so I decided to tie another winged wet, the Golden Doctor, this time taking some step by step photos of the process. Again, tied in hand on a Size 7 Limerick.

Now that I"m not contained to tying only on the vise, I'll hopefully be tying a lot more flies this year, with multiple projects going on at one time.

I'm tying flies for Streamers365 again this year, and those will all be in hand. Its should be a fun exercise.
